Smarkia's energy management across 2,000+ Mercadona sites

2,000+

operational sites monitored in real time

Mercadona supermarkets case study

Started more than two years ago, the project aims to increase Mercadona's operational efficiency with a solution that monitors, in real time, the electricity, gas and water use of stores, logistics blocks, offices and "hives" (warehouses dedicated to online sales), among others.

Smarkia's solution monitors more than 900 solar inverters and 600 sites with self-consumption, and evaluates the performance of a significant share of the company's EV charging points.

Focus

With this partnership, Smarkia drives smarter energy management at Mercadona and keeps evolving to meet the operational and strategic challenges of the largest grocery chain in Spain and one of the most important in Europe — consolidating its leadership in retail with advanced solutions to operate more efficiently, automatically and sustainably.
